Parent Role
Milpitas Parents' Preschool is a parent participation, or cooperative, preschool.
Parents are involved in every aspect of the school's administration, as well as within the classroom itself. We provide a program which allows each child to learn in the way that is most natural: by doing.
The child can explore an environment that includes a large playground and
three rooms filled with numerous activities to help the child learn about him/herself
and the world. With a teacher and several working parents each day,
the child is assured a large measure of adult attention, supporting the child's
natural inclination to explore and move to new activities at his/her own pace.
Milpitas Parents' Preschool offers an excellent program for children and also provides parents with the opportunity to be an integral part of their children's early education. Parents' input is welcome in every aspect of the program. Parents enjoy being involved in their children's school, for the satisfaction of bringing their own talents to it,for the adult friends made, and for the richness the shared experience brings to families.Taking the responsibility for our children's education is its own reward.
